Welcome to MCQ Guru. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MCQ Guru website, applications, and related services (the "Service"), operated by MCQ Guru ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for students preparing for SSC, HSC, admission, and job exams in Bangladesh. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one active account without our permission.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute questions, solutions, or any content from the Service.
  • Share your account, subscription, or paid content with others.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Service or influence leaderboards, XP, badges, or rewards.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or misleading content through feedback, flags, or any input field.
  • Impersonate any person or institution.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, modules, courses, graphics, branding, and software on MCQ Guru are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your own learning. No other rights are granted.

5. Credits, Purchases & Payments

  • Credits are a virtual currency used inside the Service. They have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • Course unlocks, live tests, shop items, and digital products may be purchased with credits or via payment gateways.
  • Payments are processed by SSLCommerz and bKash. By purchasing, you agree to their terms as well.
  • All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise and may include applicable taxes.
  • We may change prices, credit package sizes, or product availability at any time.

6. Refunds

  • Digital content (courses, modules, live tests, credits) is generally non-refundable once delivered or consumed.
  • If a payment is charged in error or a purchased item is not delivered, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate.
  • Physical shop items follow the refund/return policy shown at checkout.

7. Gamification

XP, badges, levels, daily quests, leaderboards, and streaks are provided for motivation only. We may adjust, reset, or revoke any of these — including removing rewards obtained through cheating, abuse, or bugs — without notice.

8. User Submissions

When you submit feedback, flag questions, or post any content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service. You confirm that your submissions do not violate any third party's rights.

9. Accuracy of Content

We work hard to keep questions and explanations accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is error-free. The Service is a learning aid and should not be treated as the sole authority for any exam.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in fraud. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your access to paid content and credits ends.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific exam results, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCQ Guru and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
